GEMS Starts Theology Course to Equip Missionaries and Ministry Trainees

GEMS started a Diploma in Theology course in Bihar for missionaries, ministry trainees and parachurch workers in partnership with Elim missions and Regents Theological College.
GEMS in partnership with Elim missions and RTC (Regents Theological College) started Diploma in Theology course at GEMS campus in Sikaria, Bihar. It was attended by missionaries, Timothy Bible School students and parachurch workers; 43 participants are presently being benefitted through this course. The training department of GEMS organized the course and the participants were from GEMS fields of Bihar, Jharkhand and from another mission of West Bengal.
The first semester was conducted from 6thto 17th March 2017 and faculties from Elim & RTC, U.K. took classes. Rev. Jamys Carter took sessions and did an overview of Old Testament. Dr. Keith Warrington did sessions on the Synoptic Gospels. Rev. Michael Reid showed God, the Father and helped the participants to learn His character and mission.
The classes helped the participants to gain a better understanding of the books of the Bible and the character and mission of God.

Pray for all the participants of the RTC course that this learning may equip them to understand the Bible in a better way so as to grow deeper in their relationship with God and to be effective in their teaching of the Word. Pray also for the Elim-RTC faculties and the organizing team.
