Missionary Bro. Hari Oli (59 years) had fever with vomiting and dysentery and was in his field for three days. When there was no improvement in his health he went to Hetauda and was admitted at the government hospital. He was diagnosed with Jaundice and after two days he was referred to Bharatpur hospital. But on the way he began to vomit blood and his condition worsened and on 12th October at 2:45 PM he breathed his last.

Before knowing the Lord Hari Oli was bound to the habit of playing cards which brought many problems in his family. One-day Pastor Dhil Bahadur met him and shared about Jesus and that was a turning point in his life. He began to go to church and then joined GEMS Timothy College in the batch 2014-15. Because he became a follower of Christ, he was rejected by his family.

After completing TBC he served under Area Leader Bro. Purushotam for six months and then he was shifted to Bhagai which was without any worker. He was ministering with great zeal and he wanted to build a church here before moving to any other field. Even after he fell sick, until he breathed his last Bro. Hari was talking about building the church at Bhagai.

Bro. Hari is survived by his wife, one son and two daughters. After his demise his extended family members did not allow burial and forcefully took the body to do the last rites.

Pray that the Lord may comfort Bro. Hari’s wife and children with His own comfort. Pray that the work that he left at Bhagai will continue with the same zeal for the Lord and His church.
