Missionaries Equipped thru the Fourth Semester Theology Classes

48 candidates successfully participated in the fourth semester of the Diploma in Applied theology course conducted by GEMS in partnership with Elim missions & Regents Theological College.

GEMS started a Diploma in Theology course in Bihar for missionaries, ministry trainees and parachurch workers in partnership with Elim missions and Regents Theological College, UK. This is helping the field workers to be able to purse theology without the requirement of long absence from their places. The team of the Training department of GEMS coordinated and organized the course under Bro. Paul Bance‚Äôs leadership and the fourth semester was conducted from 8thto 12th Jan 2018.

Rev. Gary took sessions on Evangelism, Leadership & Apologetics. The classes helped the participants to look at evangelism strategies according to biblical ways. And his lifelong experience in being an evangelist and mission leader was an added and rich learning experience.

Sessions on Discipleship & Church were taken by Rev. Mark who has been a pastor for several years. His teaching of the biblical foundations on these and his own experience of working with struggling, conflicting churches and the ways God enabled him to motivate them to become outreach churches, was a great and meaningful learning.

Pray for all the candidates of the Applied theological course that they may apply the learning in their life and ministry and to allow the Spirit of God to mould them to be used effectively by Him.
Pray that many more would be enriched through this course offered through extension.
Pray for the resource people and the organizers to be encouraged to continue to serve through their gifts.
